ZIDOM-R

Omeprazole & Domperidone Tablets

Zidom-R (Omeprazole & Domperidone Tablets) works by combining the therapeutic effects of Omeprazole and Domperidone to manage conditions related to excessive stomach acid and delayed gastric emptying. Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for acid secretion, which helps relieve heartburn, acid reflux, and gastric irritation. Domperidone, a prokinetic agent, enhances the movement of food through the stomach and intestines, reducing bloating, nausea, and vomiting. Together, these ingredients provide effective relief from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders, improving digestion and overall comfort.

Zidom-R is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, heartburn, and dyspepsia associated with delayed gastric emptying. It is also prescribed for patients experiencing nausea and vomiting related to gastrointestinal disorders. By controlling stomach acid and improving gastric motility, Zidom-R helps reduce symptoms, prevent complications, and enhance quality of life.

The dosage of Zidom-R should be as directed by your doctor. Typically, one tablet is taken once or twice daily, 30 minutes before meals, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew. Always follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Storage: Store Zidom-R in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Common Side Effects: Some patients may experience mild headache, dizziness, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, or dry mouth. These effects are usually temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
