| AMISULPRIDE 100MG TABLET |
AMISULPRIDE 100MG TABLET includes Amisulpride, a medication of the Antipsychotics class. It is used to treat people who have schizophrenia (a severe mental condition).
AMISULPRIDE 100MG TABLET should not be used in people who have breast cancer or a prolactin-dependent tumour, phaeochromocytoma (a form of adrenal gland tumour), and/or pituitary tumour. It is also not indicated for those who are allergic to amisulpride.
Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, Parkinson's disease (a type of brain illness), fits, indicators of low potassium levels in your blood (such as constipation, exhaustion, muscle damage), stroke, kidney difficulties, and/or liver problems (such as hepatic impairment) before using AMISULPRIDE 100MG TABLET.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Tablet: Take AMISULPRIDE 100MG TABLET as directed by your doctor. Take the medication with a glass of water. Do not chew or mash the medication. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for you based on your age, weight, and medical status.
Orally Disintegrating Tablet: Take AMIPRIDE 100MG TABLET as directed by your doctor. Allow AMIPRIDE 100MG TABLET to dissolve completely within your mouth. The medication should not be swallowed or chewed. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for you based on your age, weight, and medical status.

A. Drug-Drug interactions:
Before taking AMIPRIDE 100MG TABLET, inform your doctor, if you are taking any of the following medicine.
1. medicine used to treat Parkinson’s disease (Ex. Levodopa)
2. dopamine agonists (Ex. ropinirole and bromocriptine)
3. medicines used to control heart rate (Ex. quinidine, disopyramide, sotalol, amiodarone)
4. clozapine (used to schizophrenia)
5. other antipsychotic drugs used to treat mental health problems (Ex. risperidone, quetiapine, olanzapine)
6. medicines used to treat high blood pressure and migraine (Ex. clonidine, diltiazem, verapamil, guanfacine, digitalis)
7. mefloquine (used to treat malaria)
8. medicines that induce sleep (Ex. barbiturates, benzodiazepines)
9. pain killers (medicines used to relieve pain) Ex. tramadol, indomethacin
10. anesthetics (medicines used to numb sensation in certain areas of the body or induce sleep) Ex. benzodiazepines, diazepam, lorazepam
11. antihistamines (medicines that induce sleep) Ex. promethazine
12. medicines that can affect the level of sodium and potassium in blood such as water tablets (Ex. bumetanide, ethacrynic acid, furosemide), some laxatives (Ex. bisacodyl), glucocorticoids (Ex. prednisone, prednisolone, triamcinolone), tetracosactide, amphotericin
