TIFRO-ZM

TIFRO-ZM

FERROUS BISGLYCINATE 100MG, ZINC BISGLYCINATE 15MG, METHYLCOBALAMIN 500MCG & L-METHYLFLOATE CALCIUM 1MG TABLET

Tifro-ZM (Ferrous Bisglycinate, Zinc Bisglycinate, Methylcobalamin & L-Methyl Folate Calcium Tablets) combines essential minerals and vitamins to support red blood cell production, immune function, and overall nutritional balance. Ferrous Bisglycinate is an easily absorbed form of iron that helps prevent and treat iron-deficiency anemia by increasing hemoglobin levels and supporting oxygen transport in the blood. Zinc Bisglycinate supports immune system health, wound healing, and enzyme functions. Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) plays a crucial role in nerve health and red blood cell formation, while L-Methyl Folate Calcium is a bioactive form of folic acid essential for DNA synthesis, proper cell division, and prevention of certain types of anemia. Together, these ingredients help restore nutrient deficiencies, improve energy levels, and enhance overall well-being.

Tifro-ZM is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron, zinc, vitamin B12, and folate deficiencies. It is particularly useful in conditions such as iron-deficiency anemia, fatigue due to nutritional deficiencies, impaired immunity, poor wound healing, and during pregnancy or lactation when nutritional demands are higher. It may also support patients with poor dietary intake, vegetarians, or those recovering from surgery or chronic illnesses where micronutrient supplementation is required.

For adults and children above 12 years, the usual dosage is one tablet daily, preferably after a meal to enhance absorption and reduce stomach irritation. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not crush or chew it. The dosage may be adjusted by your doctor based on your individual needs, severity of deficiency, and response to therapy.

Storage: Keep Tifro-ZM in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Store out of reach of children.

Common Side Effects: Some patients may experience mild nausea, stomach discomfort, constipation, or a metallic taste in the mouth. These effects are usually temporary. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Drug Warnings: Before taking Tifro-ZM (Ferrous Bisglycinate, Zinc Bisglycinate, Methylcobalamin & L-Methyl Folate Calcium Tablets), inform your doctor if you have allergies to any of its ingredients. Patients with hemochromatosis, kidney disease, liver disease, or chronic illnesses should use this medicine cautiously. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose, as excessive intake of iron, zinc, or vitamins may lead to toxicity. Keep the medicine out of reach of children, as accidental overdose can be harmful, especially in young children.

Drug–Drug Interactions: Tifro-ZM may interact with certain antibiotics (like tetracyclines or fluoroquinolones), thyroid medications, or other mineral supplements. Always inform your doctor about all prescription and over-the-counter medicines, as well as herbal products you are taking.

Drug–Food Interactions: Take Tifro-ZM with a meal for optimal absorption. Avoid taking it simultaneously with high-calcium foods, tea, coffee, or antacids, as these may reduce iron absorption.

Drug–Disease Interactions: Patients with anemia due to causes other than nutritional deficiency, chronic kidney disease, or liver disorders should use this medicine under strict medical supervision. Your doctor may require periodic blood tests to monitor response and safety.
