SIORAB-DSR

Enteric Coated Rabeprazole Sodium & Domperidone SR Capsules

Siorab-DSR (Enteric Coated Rabeprazole Sodium & Domperidone SR Capsules) works by combining the acid-reducing action of Rabeprazole Sodium with the prokinetic effect of Domperidone SR to effectively manage gastrointestinal disorders. Rabeprazole Sodium is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for acid secretion, helping to relieve heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach irritation. Domperidone SR, the sustained-release form of Domperidone, enhances gastric motility, promoting faster emptying of the stomach and reducing symptoms like nausea, vomiting, bloating, and discomfort associated with delayed gastric emptying. Together, these components provide comprehensive relief from acid-related digestive problems and improve overall gastrointestinal comfort.

Siorab-DSR is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, and dyspepsia accompanied by nausea or vomiting. It is also prescribed for patients with delayed gastric emptying or functional dyspepsia to alleviate bloating, early satiety, and discomfort. This medication is recommended under medical supervision for patients experiencing both excessive stomach acid and gastrointestinal motility issues.

The usual dosage of Siorab-DSR is one capsule daily, preferably taken 30 minutes before breakfast, or as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break it to preserve the enteric coating and sustained-release effect. Complete the full course as directed, even if symptoms improve earlier, to achieve optimal therapeutic benefits.

Storage: Store Siorab-DSR in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Common Side Effects: Mild headache, dizziness, dry mouth, abdominal discomfort, or diarrhea may occur in some patients. These effects are usually temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
