Sertraline, which is found in SERTA 50MG TABLET, belongs to a class of drugs known as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors. It is used to treat depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is also used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years old and to avoid recurrent depression in adults.

Drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, fast heart rate, tremors, agitation, dizziness, unconsciousness, seizures, high/low blood pressure, agitation, disorientation, or insomnia are all symptoms of overdosage.
