It is used to treat depression, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, PTSD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is also used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years old and to avoid recurrent depression in adults.

Inform your doctor if you have suicidal thoughts, epilepsy or a history of seizures, schizophrenia, heart illness (such as extended QT interval, rapid heart rhythm), or kidney disease (such as mild, moderate, or severe renal impairment) before using SERTRALINE 25MG TABLET.
Take SERTA 25MG TABLET as directed by your doctor. Do not chew or mash the medication. Take the medication with a glass of water. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for you based on your age, weight, and medical status.
