This medicine is used to alleviate pain caused by diabetic nerve damage, shingles (herpes zoster) infection, or spinal cord injury. This medicine is also used to relieve pain in fibromyalgia patients.It is also used in conjunction with other drugs to treat some types of seizures (focal seizures).
Before you begin taking pregabalin, read the Medication Guide and, if applicable, the Patient Information Leaflet issued by your chemist, as well as each time you obtain a refill. If you have any queries about the information, please see your doctor or chemist.
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, trouble focusing, and weight gain are all possible side effects. Inform your doctor or chemist right once if any of these symptoms persist or worsen.
Remember that your doctor has recommended this medicine because the benefit to you outweighs the risk of adverse effects. Many persons who use this drug have no major adverse effects.
Inform your doctor right away if you experience any of the following serious side effects: blurred vision, unusual bleeding/bruising, unsteadiness, confusion, muscle pain/tenderness/weakness (especially if you are tired or have a fever), swelling of hands/legs/feet, or signs of kidney problems (such as a change in the amount of urine).

While taking this drug, you may be subjected to lab and/or medical testing (such as kidney function). Maintain all medical and laboratory appointments. For further information, speak with your doctor.
Missed Dose :- If you forget to take a dosage, take it as soon as you recall. If the next dosage is approaching, skip the missing dose. Take your next dosage at the usual time. To catch up, do not increase the dose.
