PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE prevents seizures by lowering the brain's aberrant nerve cell activity. By preventing the neurological system from receiving pain signals, it functions as a particular analgesic for neuropathic pain in the peripheral and central nervous systems. It reduces the production of certain brain chemicals (GABA) that elevate anxiety by causing inappropriate mood stimulation.
Take the 150MG PREGABALIN CAPSULE as prescribed by your doctor. PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE should be taken with a glass of water. Don't chew or crush the medication. You can take PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE with or without meals.
Depending on your age, body weight, and medical state, your doctor will determine the proper dose and length of therapy for you. Without first talking to your doctor, do not discontinue taking PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE.
A. Drug – Drug interactions:
Tell your doctor if you are already taking any of the following medications before taking PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE:
1. Oxycodone, a drug used to treat pain
2. Lorazepam, which eases anxiety
3. Oral contraceptives (birth control pills) Ex. ethinyl estradiol
Overdosage:
If you or anybody else unintentionally consumed more PREGABALIN 150MG CAPSULE, call your doctor right away or get to the hospital in your area right away. An overdose may cause symptoms such as fits, confusion, agitation, and sleepiness.
It is used in adults to treat:
1. Neuropathic pain in the central and periphery
2. Combined with other medications for epilepsy (fits or seizures)
3. Disorder of Generalised Anxiety
