MLC-3

ACEBROPHYLLINE SUSTAINED RELEASE 200MG & MONTEKULAST 20MG TABLET

MLC-3 (Acebrophylline Sustained Release & Montelukast Sodium Tablets) is a combination medicine that helps people breathe easier by treating conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Acebrophylline and Montelukast Sodium, which work together to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and chest tightness. Acebrophylline acts as a bronchodilator and mucolytic agent it relaxes the muscles in the airways, clears mucus, and reduces inflammation, making it easier for air to flow in and out of the lungs. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that prevents substances in the body (called leukotrienes) from causing airway swelling and tightening. Together, they improve lung function, help control allergic reactions, and support long-term respiratory health.

MLC-3 is prescribed for the management of asthma, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, and COPD. It helps in preventing breathing difficulties, chronic cough, and wheezing caused by airway inflammation or allergic triggers such as dust, pollen, or smoke. It may also be recommended for individuals who experience night-time breathing problems or seasonal allergies that affect the lungs and sinuses.

Take MLC-3 exactly as advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, preferably after meals to avoid stomach discomfort. Do not crush or chew the tablet. The dosage and duration depend on the patient’s age, medical condition, and response to the treatment. It is important to take the medication regularly for the best results and not to skip doses, even if symptoms improve.

Storage: Store MLC-3 in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
