The medication Mirtazapine, which is included in MIRTAZ 15MG TABLET, is categorised as an antidepressant. Depression in adults is treated with it. A mood condition called depression is characterised by a constant sense of melancholy, a loss of interest, a sense of shame or worthlessness, trouble paying attention, a lack of energy, suicidal thoughts, and sluggish or unusual body movements.
You can take Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET with or without food. The Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET may take up to 1-2 weeks to begin functioning, and it may take up to 4 weeks of therapy before you start to feel better. In order to get the best results, take Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET for the amount of time prescribed by your doctor.
If you have any liver, kidney, or cardiac issues, let your doctor know before using Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET. Additionally, you should warn your doctor if you have any of the following conditions as a precaution: jaundice, diabetes, glaucoma, low blood pressure, a history of fits, suicidal thoughts, or other mental diseases (such as manic depression or schizophrenia).
Avoid using Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET at the same time as other antidepressants (MAO inhibitors) without first seeing your physician. Before using Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET if you are expecting or nursing, talk to your doctor.
The most frequent adverse reactions of using Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET are tremors, anxiety, disorientation, weight gain, headache, constipation, dry mouth, and joint and muscular discomfort. If any of these adverse effects worsen, speak with your doctor.
Additionally, after taking Mirtazapine 15MG TABLET, you must tell your doctor right away if your depression worsens or if you have any suicidal thoughts.
COMMON

14. increased blood fat levels
UNCOMMON
1. burning, stinging, tickling sensation in the skin
2. restless legs (urge to move the legs)
3. numbness in the mouth
4. low blood pressure
5. nightmares
6. agitation, hallucination

A. Drug-Drug Interactions:
If you are currently taking any of the following medications before taking MIRTAZAPINE 15MG TABLET, please let your doctor know:
1. Other antidepressants include SSRIs (venlafaxine, duloxetine), MAO inhibitors (such as moclobemide, tranylcypromine, and selegiline), and others.
2. Medicines used to treat control abnormal heart rhythm (such as digoxin, amiodarone)
3. Medications (such as L-tryptophan, sumatriptan, and zolmitriptan) used to treat migraine headaches
4. Morphine and tramadol are both painkillers.
5. Linezolid, a bacterial infection-treating antibiotic
6. Lithium, St. John's Wort, and nefazodone are all medications for treating depression.
7. Methaemoglobin levels that are too high in the blood are treated with methylene blue.
8. Drugs that ease anxiety and promote sleep, such as clonazepam, midazolam, diazepam, and alprazolam
9. Medications (like olanzapine) used to treat schizophrenia
10. Treatments for allergic disorders, such as cetirizine
