LEVISH-M

Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride & Montelukast Sodium Tablets

Levish-M (Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride & Montelukast Sodium Tablets) works by combining the effects of two powerful agents that relieve allergy symptoms. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, a natural substance responsible for allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itching. Montelukast, on the other hand, is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that prevents the action of leukotrienes, chemicals that cause airway inflammation, swelling, and tightening in the lungs. Together, these ingredients provide long-lasting relief from both nasal and respiratory allergic reactions, improving breathing comfort and overall well-being.

Levish-M is indicated for the treatment and prevention of allergic conditions such as seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria (hives), and asthma-related breathing difficulties triggered by allergens. It helps relieve symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, watery eyes, and itching in the nose or throat. The medicine is also beneficial for individuals who experience both nasal and bronchial allergies at the same time.

The dosage of Levish-M should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening, with or without food. The dose may vary depending on the patient’s age, medical condition, and response to therapy. Swallow the tablet whole with water and avoid crushing or chewing it. Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your healthcare provider.

Storage: Store Levish-M in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Common Side Effects: Some patients may experience mild side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, or abdominal discomfort. These usually subside as your body adjusts to the medication. However, if you notice any persistent or severe effects, contact your doctor immediately.
