Drug Warnings: DOXYLINE PLUS (Doxylamine Succinate, Pyridoxine HCl, Folic Acid) is intended for pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting. It should not be used for other purposes unless advised by a healthcare professional. Avoid using this medicine with MAO inhibitors (a type of antidepressant), and inform your doctor if you are taking cough or cold medications, sleeping pills, painkillers, or blood thinners. Do not stop the medicine suddenly, as symptoms may return.
Drug–Drug Interactions: DOXYLINE PLUS may interact with blood thinners, MAO inhibitors (such as selegiline, rasagiline, tranylcypromine), sleeping pills (zolpidem, alprazolam, triazolam), certain pain medications (morphine, methadone), and cough or cold medicines (brompheniramine, chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine). These interactions can increase side effects like drowsiness or bleeding risk. Always inform your doctor of all medications being taken.
Drug–Food Interactions: Avoid alcohol while taking DOXYLINE PLUS as it can enhance drowsiness and dizziness. Do not consume excessive folate-rich foods or supplements unless prescribed, as the medicine already contains Folic Acid.
