DICLOFENAC POTASSIUM, PARACETAMOL, AND SERRATIOPEPTIDASE TABLET

DICLOFENAC POTASSIUM, PARACETAMOL, AND SERRATIOPEPTIDASE TABLET is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine) combination medication used to treat pain and inflammation in disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also aids in the treatment of muscular pain, tooth pain following dental surgery, menstrual cramps, ear discomfort, and migraine headaches. Pain is a symptom caused by the neurological system that causes unpleasant sensations in the body. Arthritis is characterised by joint soreness and swelling, which causes pain and stiffness.

DICLOFENAC POTASSIUM, PARACETAMOL, AND SERRATIOPEPTIDASE TABLET is a medication combination consisting of Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac and Paracetamol function by inhibiting the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which produce other chemical prostaglandins. These prostaglandins are generated at the location of the damage and induce pain, edoema, and fever. Less prostaglandins are created when the COX enzyme is inhibited, which lessens mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever. Serratiopeptidase functions as both a mucolytic (dissolves viscous protein at the injured/affected location) and an anti-inflammatory drug, reducing swelling at the painful site.

Disease/Condition Glossary

Pain: Pain is a symptom caused by the neurological system that causes unpleasant sensations in the body. Pain might be subtle or acute, continuous or intermittent. The amount of pain tolerance varies from person to person. Pain can be generalised (affecting the entire body) or localised (affecting a single location of the body). Headaches, muscular strain, cramps, wounds, bone fractures, and arthritis are all typical causes of pain.

Osteoarthritis: It is a joint illness in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the degradation of cartilage, a protective covering. Because this protective layer is missing, the joints rub against one other, causing discomfort and stiffness. Pain, stiffness, inflammation, and soreness are some of the symptoms.

Rheumatoid arthritis: It is an auto-immune illness, which means that the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, causing joint discomfort and destruction. Rheumatoid arthritis symptoms include pain, swelling, stiffness, deformities, and loss of joint function.

Ankylosing spondylitis: It causes back discomfort and stiffness. The discomfort usually begins in the lower back and might progress to the neck, injured joints, or other portions of the body. Ankylosing spondylitis is characterised by reduced flexibility, which results in a hunched-forward posture and discomfort in the back and joints.
